Just Like the Potato

A potato isn’t any good until it has been cooked unless someone is using it to throw it at someone else (ouch) 😊

Moral of the sentence: sometimes we have to go through something before we can get any better. Yes, we are fearfully and wonderfully made (thank God), but growth is essential.

Going through things hurt, but even that is something to be thankful for. Your “going through” could open your eyes to what you need to be set free from or it can allow you to see how you need to change. Sometimes we stay the same because we have been doing it that same way for a long time (tradition), but just like that potato sometimes we have to be tried in the fire to become better. Complacency can become dangerous. It doesn’t allow you to grow and like the potato, you won’t be any good until something changes.

~Indeed, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested and chosen you in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10).~

Sometimes it takes going through to get to the next level. If you are going through a trial, just hold on!! You can make it and that mess will become your mmessage. God Bless!!πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡
